Faced with growing demand, I decided to dedicate the WALLABY K2i to adults. This model perfectly meets all the standards required by the W7IB: Wheelchair Sevens International Board for the practice of Wheelchair Rugby 7s, including its compatibility with smaller-sized Wallabies. This encourages intergenerational togetherness by enabling parents to play with their children. This model has been reinforced with directional wheels and offers even more strapping options. “…it may mean nothing to you, but to them it means a lot…” From the many trips I’ve had to make with sports wheelchairs, I’ve seen how quickly you can run into difficulties when it comes to handling and transfer logistics. It’s to meet these expectations that I’ve taken the “airplane mode” option on my new Wallaby model a step further. The Wallaby K2i, in addition to being able to store its propulsion wheels behind the backrest, can also accommodate a KHEIRON travel hood, creating a 4-liter trunk for storing the two directional wheels, the two anti-tipper wheels, all the Wallaby K2i’s quick axles, and even tools! I’m delighted to unveil my latest creation, the Wallaby K2i. Made from recycled plastic and 10 times recyclable, this model is a concentrate of innovations, including the one that was closest to my heart: being able to convert Wallaby to A-BALL. A-BALL is the practice of Football in a manual wheelchair, accessible to girls and boys of all ages, whether able-bodied or with reduced mobility. This inclusion, identical to that of Wheelchair Rugby 7, convinced me to dedicate one of my creations to them.
